More About Us

Mikie & Dixie were married in 1989.  They have 3 adult children and 2 Grandchildren.  They both agree that being Grandparents is much easier and Mikie says he wishes he could've been a Granpa first!  This couple have served in ministry as Youth Pastors, College Pastors, Associate Pastors and Senior Pastors.

In 2021, Mikie and Dixie moved to Tennessee from Michigan and started Izella.  The inspiration for this company was a storm that blew through their neighborhood, damaging many roofs.  Mikie asked a "friend" who was a Contractor for an estimate to repair the roof.  He was shocked at the exorbitant pricing and decided to do something about it - start a business which offered affordable pricing and excellent service while partnering with local charities and making a difference in people's lives.
